   Rules & Regulations: The cook-off is open to anyone over the age of 18. You must use an open flame to            prepare your entry. The use of BUTANE TANKS, GRILLS, BBQ PITS, SMOKERS or CHARCOAL is
  prohibited. Only WOOD can be used as a heat source. Lighter fluid is allowed but discouraged.

LIABILITIES: It is agreed the Arnaudville Chamber of Commerce (Le Feu et l'Eau--Fire and Water Rural Arts Celebration), in granting this contract, is not employing or in any manner assuming responsibility for the acts
of the COMPETTOR or its employees. The COMPETITOR agrees to operate in a safe and tasteful manner,
and to comply with the laws or regulations of the Association, the State of Louisiana, the Parish of St. Martin, the Town of Arnaudville and the Arnaudville Chamber of Commerce as well as all employees of the Celebration Association, and to obtain any and all necessary permits and licenses required by the STATE, PARISH OF
ST MARTIN, CITY OF ARNAUDVILLE, AND LE FEU ET L'EAU--FIRE AND WATER RURAL ARTS CELEBRATION.

HOLD HARMLESS: COMPETITOR, as a condition of participation, the above named COMPETITOR(s) and/or individual(s) agree to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Arnaudville, the non-profit organization known as the Arnaudville Chamber of Commerce, its officers, directors, committee members, employees, volunteers, sponsors, contractors, and agents from any and all claims, actions, suits, losses, damages, liability of every type and nature, including (but not limited to) all costs and legal expenses incurred by the Applicant or any other party, by reason of any activity arising under or in connection with the Applicant’s participation in the
Le Feu et l'Eau--Fire and Water Rural Arts Celebration, including (but not limited to): personal injury, property damage arising from or out of any occurrence, omission, error, or negligence arising from any activity related
to said participation. In the event that any litigation is commenced by or against the Applicant, his/her/its
heirs or assigns, then the Applicant shall proceed and hold harmless the Arnaudville Chamber of Commerce,
its officers, directors, committee members, employees, volunteers, sponsors, contractors, and agents, and shall pay all costs, expenses, and reasonable attorney’s fees incurred or paid by the aforementioned entities in connection with such litigation.

COMPETITOR RESPONSIBLE: ASSOCIATION assumes no liability for damages to goods or property of COMPETITOR or any liability for damages to persons or property arising out of or suffered, directly or
indirectly, in connection with this contract or COMPETITOR'S use of the premises. COMPETITOR
agrees that the address indicated on this contract will be its address for service of process and that if for any reason that address is unavailable, ASSOCIATION is designated its agent for service of process in any action arisen out of its use of the Le Feu et l'Eau--Fire and Water Rural Celebration site.
COMPETITOR must leave their assigned area in a clean and orderly condition which includes but is not
limited to trash removal.
