You can find information about events below. When visiting Fire and Water -- Feu et l'Eau, you may park along the streets or at Cypress City Antiques (Highway 93 East from I-49 Grand Coteau) just west of downtown.
The Friday central and land bonfires will be lit by Mark Hardy. Todd Guilbeau, the 2009 incoming Arnaudville Area Chamber of Commerce President, and his team will be responsible for the floating bayou fires on the Bayous Fusilier and Teche (Intersection of Highway 31 South and Highway 93 East).
Please visit Cypress City Antiques, The Village Shoppe, Vincent Darby Studio, Moncton Rock, Acadiana Cri: Art and Music in the Cultural Capitals of Both Acadies (1968-2008) at Steeple View Gallery, art by Lori Henderson and Missy Maloney at Tom's Fiddle and Bow, Alex Nunez Studios, Secret Garden inside NuNu's Cafe, the Little Blue House Gallery, William Lewis and Bryan Lafaye at Turtle Cove Studio, Lisa's School of Dance, the Arnaudville Gazebo (next to Town Hall) to visit with Santa and for story telling with Mayor Kathy Richard, Toni's Creations for woodcrafts, Myran's Maison de Manger, Town Market Rural Arts Centre and the Arnaudville Area Chamber of Commerce. Local crafters and artisans will be located around the Jack Hardy lot at the intersection of Highway 93 East and Highway 31 South, where the main bonfire will be ablaze. Bring a chair or blanket to sit near the fire, or meander over the bayou bridges to explore our town. Enjoy good food, meet with friends and neighbors or make your holiday purchases of local art and music. Food vendors will be selling local and regional fare, so bring an appetite.
